Quite often we get to hear from someone or the other - 'Cheese is only Fat' or 'Cheese is bad for you' or 'If you have to lose weight you have give up eating cheese' and so on.
Well that is not all true! Cheese does contain fat and salt. And so it is important to moderate the amount of it. Also, there are so many types of cheese available with varying fat content to choose from. Although in case of underlying health conditions such as cholesterol, blood pressure, etc. one needs to keep a check on cheese based on the advice from doctor.
Cheese is also a good source of protein and calcium. Apart from this, it also contains vitamins and minerals depending on the type of cheese being used. For instance, Paneer or Cottage cheese contains Vitamin A, B group, C & D, zinc and magnesium too.
Always remember, moderation is the key!
