Food is probably one of the most sought after thing around the world. Wherever you go, take a pause and look around you. There would be some one or the other consuming something. Food is present abundantly both in our offline as well as our online world. Food is everywhere!
It is the thing that we have and think about at least 4 times in a day.
It is the thing that brings a smile on our face quite easily.
It is the thing that we long for when we don’t have it.
It is the thing that mothers are most worried about.
It is the thing that is part of every celebration.
It is the thing that accompanies every conversation.
It is the thing that is an integral part of every culture.
It is the thing that soothes our body and soul.
Photos, videos, ads, reels, and what not about food, how so ever clichéd but when it comes to food, it is still loved by all.
I am a strong believer of showing utmost importance and respect for food. I feel that the relationship with food is extremely precious. To value and respect this relationship you need not be someone who loves to eat food, talk about food or prepare food, rather it is only about the due value to be given to food. We have times when we are working and eat while working where eating is just a task to be completed. Chewing your food, noting the taste of it with every bite, taking in the aroma of food, eating with all the senses helps the body and mind at various levels. Giving those few minutes while consuming and making it into an experience rather than a task promotes a healthy body and mind.
We all need food. Love it. Respect it. Appreciate it.
